The core of our ministry is simply:

Knowing God & Loving people.

Our mission is to spread the knowledge of God’s Word and love one person at a time.

Love is central, Grace is central, Faith is central

Above all else,

Jesus Christ is CEN†RE STAGE in this ministry

The Bible  is our cornerstone

It's All About Jesus
  • Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

    — Matthew 28:18-20

  • “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden, Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

    — Matthew 4:14-16

  •  “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?”

    — Luke 5:14

  • “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

    — 2 Timothy 2:15

We believe in this Great Co–Mission undertaken in partnership with each other and the power, person, and presence of the Holy Spirit.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

- Acts 1:8‍  ‍

As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to shine amid intensifying darkness.

We are called to live a lit-up life as we obey the charge Jesus gave to bring His message of love, grace and salvation to all.

It is the hour to be aligned with His plans and purposes.

We seek to partner with His mission by:

SEEKING to reach the lost

Luke 5:14 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it?”

KNOWING discipling & equipping the found

2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

LOVING uniting the Body

1 Corinthians 16:14 “ Let all that you do be done with love.”

SERVING supporting one another

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

Fresh Start Ministries Sth Pacific is an interdenominational teaching, divine encounter and connection ministry, with a heart to reach the lost and see believers restored and established in the Word of God.

Priorities of this ministry:

Creating a safe:

  • Relational community where lives are transformed and empowered through the gospel of grace – founded upon the finished work of Jesus Christ in His death, burial, ascension, and current ministry in heaven as our High Priest.

  • Harbour in uncertain times – providing intentional discipleship, support, care, and mutual encouragement.

  • Authentic space where agape love, grace, mercy, the power of God and the gifts of the Holy Spirit can flow.

Safety is central:

  • Our leadership team have completed safe church training and current WWC (Working with Children) checks.

  • We adhere to Safe Church policies and procedures

  • In addition, our leaders complete “Leading Like Love” curriculum, a five-part teaching program created to ensure biblical guidelines are understood and followed to ensure safety for all.

Teaching/preaching based upon the guidance of scripture so we can live missional lives, as modelled in the example of Christ’s life and ministry.

Identifying and releasing spiritual giftings and encouraging active participation, understanding every person brings a unique and valuable supply.

God’s desire is to activate every single member of the Body of Christ, so that we all catch our heavenly assignment and live on mission, walking this assignment out

Heb 10:24-25 “and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, 25not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.”

Encounter, Connect & Journey Together

We seek to foster deeper connection and intimacy with our Heavenly Father.

Our gatherings are not religious events but living encounters with the person, power and presence of the living God.

“The One” embodies the flow and heart of our leadership vision, as we seek to reflect our Heavenly Father’s heart and priority for the ONE:

Luke 15:3-6, 8-9 NLT So Jesus told them this story: 4 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. 6 When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbours, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she will call in her friends and neighbours and say, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost coin.’

Our heart is to care for the ONE – each person in our midst treated as a unique individual worthy of uttermost care and attention.

We desire to partner with you and to walk with you.

Christian partnership is a deep, shared life (koinonia) with God and fellow believers, focused on advancing the Gospel through mutual support, shared purpose, and collaboration.

It involves sharing in spiritual blessings, responsibilities, and struggles, working together to build up the church and fulfill God's mission.

We believe encountering, connecting, and journeying with others is a privilege - relying totally upon God’s grace, anointing, and wisdom to fulfill His plans and purposes for the restoration and transformation of the ONE.

Our heart is to actively seek out and come alongside the lost, broken, weak, bound, hurting, and lead them towards restoration and transformation in Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

  • We believe there is one eternal God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) who created all things. To save us, He became man. Jesus Christ was God in flesh, Emmanuel — God with us (John 1:14).

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His power to heal, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His sacrifice on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.

We believe Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). All who call upon the Name of the Lord Jesus will be saved (Romans 10:13).

We believe that Jesus is coming back just as He promised, firstly for the Church at the rapture and then at His second coming.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He is present to guide us in all areas of our lives and into the truth. (John 14:26). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:1-4). We believe in the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit (operating when He wills), the nine attributes of the fruit of the spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, Galatians 5:22-23), the fivefold ministry gifts (Ephesians 4:11-16) and all additional spiritual gifts mentioned within the New Testament.

  • We believe the only salvation available to the human race was purchased by Jesus Christ at Calvary through His death, burial, resurrection, ascension. This is the Gospel of grace – the Good News. Since the work of the cross consists of dying, being buried and raising again, Jesus called this plan being born again. He then declared that being born again was the only way to receive entrance into the kingdom of God and assurance of eternal life.

We believe salvation comes by grace through faith and not by works, and it is the gift of God to all who will simply believe and receive this gift.

We believe Jesus alone died for our sins and was raised from the dead to give us a fresh start and a new life (Romans 5:8, 10:9-10). Jesus is our hope for a fresh start. When we come to Him for salvation, He comes into our lives and makes everything new, and we become born again and a new creation in Christ Jesus (John 3:3-8, 2 Corinthians 5:17 & 21).

We believe we are called to preach the good news - the Gospel of grace – to all nations (Acts 20:24, Acts 1:8).

God specialises in giving people a fresh start, bringing deliverance, new ways of living and loving that will radically transform a person's life.

John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only So, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

  • We believe those who reject the gospel of Jesus Christ will be resurrected to appear at the great white throne of judgment. Even as the saved receive eternal life, the lost will receive eternal death.  This is not God’s choice, but the choice of those who reject the gospel of grace.

2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

  • We believe water baptism is an outward expression of the inward transformation that occurs when a person is born again, becoming a follower of Jesus. It demonstrates a believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 8:12, Romans 6:4)

  • The Bible, in its original manuscripts, is the inspired word of God, and it reveals the will of God to mankind. The Holy Scriptures are the final authority in matters of faith, and the unshakable foundation for sound doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,”

  • We believe that we are called like the early church in Acts, who “continued steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers.’ (Acts 2:42 & 46).

We partake of the holy Communion in remembrance of the Lord Jseus’ death, burial, resurrection, ascension and present-day ministry at the right hand of the Father (1 Corinthians 11:24-45).

For further information don’t hesitate to seek clarification about the foundations of our faith.

  • The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity],19 To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favours of God profusely abound].

    — Luke 4:18-19 AMP

  • When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Our heart is to minister to the ONE with divine compassion – each person in our midst treated with agape love in action.

    — Matthew 9:36 NLT
